Prayer for a difficult co-worker

 


Almighty God,

Thank you for the work that you have given to me to provide for my family. I pray that your divine will can be accomplished in my workplace. I offer to you a co-worker that I have not been able to connect with. This person has been a source of anger and irritation for me and I have not been able to overcome these feelings.

Lord purify my heart that I may respond wisely and calmly to every provocation. Lord let me use soft answers to turn them away when the need arises and be in my spirit that I will not be provoked unnecessarily.

Lord, I know that you can transform any situation.  Help me to recognize any ways that I have provoked them and help me to change my ways. Where my co-worker is at fault, show them, Lord, that we may be able to move past our difference with peace.

Amen

Prayer for the strength to put God first

  Heavenly Father, I trust you to be the manager of my life. I wish to be the type of person that stands firm in their faith and trust you in every situation. Give me the strength to face difficulties with you as my focus. Teach me to trust your directions. I know you want what's best for me, but I can't stop relying on my own mind and trusting only what I can see. God, help me to rely on your power. When I am afraid, I will trust you to be my courage. When I am angry, I will trust you to be my peace. When I am grieving, I will trust you to be my comfort When I am lonely, I will trust you to keep me company When I am rejected, I will remember that your approval is all that I need. Lord, you are the source of all Good things. Help me to keep my eyes focus on you and help me to develop the trust that will draw me closer to you.   Amen

July Prayer

Almighty Father,               Thank you for the wonderful blessings that you have given to me in June. As I enter this month of July, I pray for missionaries and all people who live their lives doing good for others: volunteers and paid staff of various charitable organizations, health care professionals, people who are called to religious ministry: priests, pastors, nuns, ministers, deacons, and all those who live lives of service. Be with them as they carry out the tasks you have assigned to them. Give them patience that they may graciously stand firm when it seems like their work is in vain, inspire them that they may know what to say when the time comes.   Cover them with your divine providence that their families will not want. Bless them that through their sacrifice they may find eternal peace with you Lord send your spirit Amen
