Big Blog of Prayer

  Merciful Provider, I pray today for those who do not have enough to meet their daily needs. People who are not sure of their next meal, where they are going to sleep or if they can keep their families safe. Provide for them, Lord. Be with them wherever they are and fill in the gaps that their lack of resources has left for them. Find work for their families that they can provide for themselves. Meet their cries for help with compassion and inspire all nations that they can one day create the systems that can ensure that no one experiences this kind of poverty again. I pray for an end to wastefulness. May the fruits of this Earth be shared so that we can all live comfortably. May the rich and poor work together so that all communities on the Earth may flourish. Amen.

Loving Provider, I pray for those who don’t have enough to eat.   You have called everyone to the table lord. Send them nourishment. Fill their bellies and provide them with drinkable water. Bless all farmers, Lord, that their crops will bear fruit and they will be able to provide for their families and their customers. Bless the food manufacturers that they will be able to produce food safely and cheaply so that it can be purchased by those who need it most. I pray for supermarket owners that the food may not go bad on their shelves. I pray that households can utilize the food they buy so that no one ever needs to go to sleep hungry. Lastly, Lord, I pray for those who are spiritually hungry. Their bellies may be full, but their souls are lacking. Be with all of them, provide them with the nourishment they need and help them to find their way safely to you.   Amen

Eternal Guide, As I may my way into the world today. Guide my steps that my travels lead to my blessings and away from the snares of the Evil One.   Keep my family away from all sickness, accidents, and predators as we move from place to place. Keep our hands steady as we drive from one destination to the next, grant us good weather, clear skies, and roadways. May your glory shine through us to every person we meet on our travels. Let us meet the right people at the right time that we may be a blessing to one another. May we help others or be helped whenever the need arises. May our trip be a pleasant experience and may we return home with joyful hearts and peaceful minds Amen

Wise Lord,   I come to you seeking wisdom. I know that I cannot comprehend the vastness of the universe and that the wisest men only know a minute fraction of what can be known. I pray that my search for knowledge would help me discover true wisdom and understanding that I can pull together my facts in the most beneficial way and sift through the vastness of information to choose the knowledge I most need. Guide me on my thirst for truth. Let my search keep me away from all that contradicts true wisdom. Keep me from false information and lies that masquerade as truths. You are my compass L ord, Guide me through this life. Lead me in your ways even when the path seems dim. May I drink from your word and receive heavenly wisdom that I can share with others. Amen.

God of everything,   Thank you for all the amazing blessings you have given me. Thanking for your loving touch which has comforted me through all the dark moments of my life. Forgive me for all the times that I have lost sight of your grace and placed my focus on the things of this world. Strengthen my faith that I may always remember your touch in this life and help me to reflect on all the wondrous blessings you offer me every day. Let me see you in everything that happens to me. with me every day as I live in this world of troubles and let me find comfort in your son Jesus who is the source of all wonderful things. Heal my brokenness and help me to trust in you always knowing that you will always be there to welcome me home I ask for your favour Lord, that I may be richly blessed even in times of trouble. Thank you for your healing power washing away the wounds of past hurts and for the promise of wonderful things to come. Amen.

  Magnificent Creator, You are the true source of everything awe-inspiring and beautiful. Penetrate my life with your brilliance That my work may reflect the amazing gifts you have bestowed on me. Help me to do impressive work.   Give me the knowledge that I may only utter words of wisdom Strengthen my memory that I may recall concepts correctly and completely. Strengthen my resolve that I may persist until the task is done.   Finally, give me the confidence to trust in the abilities you have given to me So that all my work can bring glory to you. Amen  

Loving God, There are so many things in this life that do not go my way. Long lines, rainy days, moody people, and many other minor sources of irritation that rob me of my joy and cause my day to be less than amazing. Lord, some people are hard to love. They can be mean, stupid, and difficult. They blame others for things they didn't do and have expectations that are impossible to meet. Sometimes I wish they weren't in my life. Teach me how to love them. Give me the patience to be kind in these situations and to reflect your graciousness to mankind.   Lord Hear my prayer Amen

Almighty Father,               Thank you for the wonderful blessings that you have given to me in June. As I enter this month of July, I pray for missionaries and all people who live their lives doing good for others: volunteers and paid staff of various charitable organizations, health care professionals, people who are called to religious ministry: priests, pastors, nuns, ministers, deacons, and all those who live lives of service. Be with them as they carry out the tasks you have assigned to them. Give them patience that they may graciously stand firm when it seems like their work is in vain, inspire them that they may know what to say when the time comes.   Cover them with your divine providence that their families will not want. Bless them that through their sacrifice they may find eternal peace with you Lord send your spirit Amen
