Prayer for forgiveness

 


Father

I come to you a poor sinner desperately seeking your forgiveness for the many times I have failed to do your will.   I am lost and seek the path to salvation. Guide me that I may understand your will and give me the grace that I may do these tasks earnestly.

Lord forgive me for the times I have committed acts that bring disgrace upon myself and close me off from the destiny you have in store for me. I place myself in your hands and wish to be moulded into the person you want me to be.

Lord forgive me for the times I have ignored the needs of those around me. Lord guide my actions that I may be more generous to the less fortunate and bless my contributions so that they can produce the richest fruits.  

Lord In everything I submit to you. Lead me in the way you wish me to go and keep me close to your Holy Will.

In Jesus' name, we pray

Prayer for the strength to put God first

  Heavenly Father, I trust you to be the manager of my life. I wish to be the type of person that stands firm in their faith and trust you in every situation. Give me the strength to face difficulties with you as my focus. Teach me to trust your directions. I know you want what's best for me, but I can't stop relying on my own mind and trusting only what I can see. God, help me to rely on your power. When I am afraid, I will trust you to be my courage. When I am angry, I will trust you to be my peace. When I am grieving, I will trust you to be my comfort When I am lonely, I will trust you to keep me company When I am rejected, I will remember that your approval is all that I need. Lord, you are the source of all Good things. Help me to keep my eyes focus on you and help me to develop the trust that will draw me closer to you.   Amen

July Prayer

Almighty Father,               Thank you for the wonderful blessings that you have given to me in June. As I enter this month of July, I pray for missionaries and all people who live their lives doing good for others: volunteers and paid staff of various charitable organizations, health care professionals, people who are called to religious ministry: priests, pastors, nuns, ministers, deacons, and all those who live lives of service. Be with them as they carry out the tasks you have assigned to them. Give them patience that they may graciously stand firm when it seems like their work is in vain, inspire them that they may know what to say when the time comes.   Cover them with your divine providence that their families will not want. Bless them that through their sacrifice they may find eternal peace with you Lord send your spirit Amen
