Lord, I thank you for the amazing children you have brought into my life. Help me to rise to the task of being a caregiver and protector for them. I ask for your wisdom and guidance as I teach them and help me to raise them in a way that supports your will for their lives. I place my children under your divine care. Watch over them so they go out today and bring them safely back to my care. Be with them as they walk through the world and give them the wisdom and understanding to navigate the world in a way that brings you glory. Teach them your ways and help them to be respectful of your Guidance. I place their futures in your hands and ask you to keep them always close to you.   Amen

God of everything, I give you praise for the gift of my grandparents. Thank you for allowing them to see their children's children and allowing them to impart their knowledge onto their Grandchildren. Have compassion on them Lord and forgive them for any way that they may have gone against what you asked of them. Bless my grandparents for the love and support they provided for me and my parents during their lives and forgive them for all the times the fell short of the parents or grandparents you called them to be. Thank you for all the special moments that I have enjoyed with them. Watch over them, guard them and care for them in this phase of life. Multiply the pleasure they receive from their grandchildren. Grant them peace and joy on this earth and when their time on Earth is done, grant them eternal happiness in your kingdom. Amen

  Everlasting God, Thank you for my parents. Have mercy upon them for any way that they may have fallen short of your will. I cover my parents in the blood of Christ and ask that you shield them from any unnecessary pain, illness, or misfortune. Bless my parents generously for the love and support they provided for me and forgive them for all the times their parenting skills were lacking. Stand in the way of anything that could cause them harm or pain lord, protect them from all danger. May they live long fruitful lives and may they see their descendants prosper into the third and fourth generation. Multiply the joys they receive from their parenting duties and take away their sorrows. Grant them peace and joy on this earth and after their earthly duties are done, may they experience eternal peace with you. Amen

  Eternal Father, Please bless my family. Under your protection fill our lives with peace, hope, and good health. Heal any pain and disputes that have grown in our family over the years. Fill us with empathy, love and understanding towards one another and grant us the words to communicate our wants and needs effectively. Transform our relationships with your love. I pray that our family will be filled with happiness, meaningful traditions, beautiful memories, and true peace. I pray for your mercy, rescue us from physical, spiritual, and financial troubles and help us rise in triumph whenever when we face difficulties   My family is in desperate need of a breakthrough. I have faith in your mercy and pray that our lives will change for the better soon. Take away the unhappy moments and painful memories, draw out the sadness and replace it with your joy.   Heavenly Father, I trust you to be the manager of my life. I wish to be the type of person that stands firm in their faith and trust you in every situation. Give me the strength to face difficulties with you as my focus. Teach me to trust your directions. I know you want what's best for me, but I can't stop relying on my own mind and trusting only what I can see. God, help me to rely on your power. When I am afraid, I will trust you to be my courage. When I am angry, I will trust you to be my peace. When I am grieving, I will trust you to be my comfort When I am lonely, I will trust you to keep me company When I am rejected, I will remember that your approval is all that I need. Lord, you are the source of all Good things. Help me to keep my eyes focus on you and help me to develop the trust that will draw me closer to you.   Amen

Good morning Lord, Thank you for waking me up to see another day. Let nothing separate me from your love today. I claim this day, in the name of Jesus Christ. As this day begins, help me to place you before anything else. Open my eyes so I can see your hand at work in my life. Give me wisdom so that I may make wise choices. Provide for me my daily bread and sanctify my work that it may all be done for your glory. Guide me so that I will not repeat the failures and disappointments of yesterday. Help me to bless others and keep me from occasions of sin. Thank you for being greater than anything I may face in my daily life. Thank you for your presence and for granting me the joy that is not dependent on my situation, but it is my true and everlasting strength, no matter what happens. Grant me your favor  as I go about my daily routine. Protect me from any dangers that may be before me and teach me to hear your voice so that I may follow you always. Amen

  Whenever you are attempting to pray for others, this is intercession. This prayer is meant to be an important tool for those who wish to pray for the concerns of others. It helps you to take the focus off you and unto the Will of God. Heavenly Father, I come to you today thanking you for the gift of praying for others. I have often received blessings through prayers form others and so I appreciate how powerful intercessory prayer can be. Purify my heart and show me any sins I have committed… I bring them before you Lord seeking forgiveness. Please heal my relationship with you so that my prayers will not be obstructed.   Heavenly Father, Thank you for the wonderful blessings that you have given to me in December. As I enter this month of January, I ask you to send us your serenity that all people of God may work together for peace across the world. Help us to respect the differences between cultures and personalities and to recognize them as a gift that adds variety to life rather than reasons to separate people. Help us to seek reconciliation rather than revenge and to create systems that encourage cooperation rather than competition. Lord send us your peace Amen

Prayer is a relationship with God in which bring our needs and the need of others to him and trust that he will enter the situation and create change. We enjoy the opportunity to pray freely because Jesus, through His sacrifice on the cross, removes the separation between us and God. Intercessory prayer or praying for others can be especially helpful in a world where people have become less likely to pray even for themselves. Intercessory prayer can unite our hearts with the people and communities we pray for. Prayer can strengthen our faith when we see our prayers being answered, it keeps us humble as it reminds us of how small our problems realty are, it changes the spiritual atmosphere of physical spaces such as schools, towns and even countries depending on what is being prayed over and it changes the intercessor.
